• Master Console Operator

    Master console operators are trained professionals who perform a variety of computer-related services. In addition directly operating them, such personnel is responsible for coordinating local (LAN) and wide (WAN) area networks, mainframe networks and the hardware, software, and devices used in computers.These experts help set up and operate intranet systems, internet sites, web-server hardware and software, and they are also responsible for monitoring and optimizing connectivity and performance issues. The console operators employed in both the private and public sectors of the information technology (IT) industry, master console operators are often referred to as the supervisors of computer network technicians.

    The scope of the work performed by such operators is far-reaching. In addition to troubleshooting LAN, WAN and mainframe networks, workstations and internet connections, they are responsible for operating and maintaining data centers, assessing and installing hardware and network software, systems and applications, and managing and monitoring systems and networks.
